Skinless and Boneless Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The Skinless and Boneless Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Conserveira do Sul are a natural product from the Algarve. National Gold Medal awarded.
Typical production of a canned sardine. At the beginning of the process, the fish is dipped in a brine tank (water and salt solution) where it is washed. After cleaning it is placed in brine to preserve and give firmness. It is then placed in cans and passes quality control. From there it is cooked and finally the respective seasoning is added. The cans are sterilized and sealed.
This is a natural product, without dyes or preservatives and gluten-free. These sardines were awarded with a Gold medal in the 2020 national canning contest.
Sardines are very rich in omega-3, have more calcium than milk, are a source of vitamin D, help control blood cholesterol levels.
It can be used in salads, as an aperitif or in the preparation of main dishes to enjoy with family or friends.
