At the beginning of the process, the fish is dipped in a brine tank (water and salt solution) where it is washed. After cleaning it is placed in brine to preserve and give firmness. Then it is placed in cans and passes the quality control, it is cooked and finally the respective seasoning is added. The cans are sterilized and sealed.
Gluten free product. These Portuguese mackerel fillets were awarded a gold medal in the 2019 national canned food competition.
It is an excellent source of fiber, unsaturated fat, vitamin A, B6 and B12, as well as phosphorus, potassium and calcium.
It can be used in appetizers, salads or in the preparation of main dishes to enjoy with family or friends.
