New vineyards were planted in 2016, and the first bottled wines appeared in 2018. In 2022, the company’s management was taken over by a younger generation, prepared to face the challenges of this activity with determination and enthusiasm.

The team works dedicatedly throughout the year, ensuring the production of high-quality grapes, grown sustainably and respecting natural resources. This effort results in unique wines, which fully express the potential of the local terroir.

The vineyard is situated in a privileged location, overlooking the Serra de Monchique and just 2 km from the sea. Part of the vineyards are planted on terraces on the slopes of the hills, with diverse soils – sandy, limestone rich in shells and clay – and a south orientation, benefiting from the influence of the north wind coming from Monchique.

Among the white grape varieties cultivated, Arinto, Verdelho, Antão Vaz and Chardonnay stand out. Red grape varieties include Touriga Nacional, Moscatel, Alfrocheiro, Alicante Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon. Furthermore, a younger vineyard made up of Pinot Noir and Negra Mole is about to start production, promising to further enrich the wine offering.
