Each of these pieces is meticulously handcrafted by Clarisa, in her picturesque studio, to the sound of nature and in the company of her beloved pets, with incomparable affection and dedication.

The pieces are made in white clay (earthenware) and, after being molded by hand, they are left to dry completely for 2-3 days or even longer. After drying, they are slowly cooked in the ceramic kiln (“muffle“) until the temperature reaches 800ºC (thus obtaining what is called “chacota“). When the oven cools down, the pieces can be removed, painted and glazed, so they can be placed in the oven again, this time for firing at 1000ºC. This way, the pieces are glazed, impermeable to water and can be washed in the dishwasher.

It’s simple: after adding the chosen basket to your cart, you can proceed to payment and choose another address where the order will be sent, other than yours. It is important to have the person’s full address and telephone number.

Surely. You can add your message in the ‘Additional notes’ field in the ‘Checkout’ step. We have our own postcards where we print the message we put in the basket at no additional cost.

We have already prepared several baskets for this type of event in the past. We will be happy to develop and present several proposals with a selection of products according to your preferences and budget. Just get in touch with us and indicate your budget, number of baskets and the products you would like to be part of.

Orders are normally dispatched by courier (DPD) and can be sent to any location in mainland Portugal or practically all countries within the European Community (see list). Unfortunately, due to very strict customs restrictions, we are no longer able to ship orders to the UK. This situation may change in the future, depending on the evolution of extra-community agreements. If you prefer, you can choose a collection point for your order. If the delivery is made in Albufeira, we will deliver it by hand free of charge.

An important point to highlight is the need to have the complete address and, above all, leave a contact telephone number for the country where the order is being sent. For example, if the shipping address is in France, the contact must be a telephone with a French code, not Portuguese, because the courier will only call a number in the country if he needs more information about the delivery location.

We only use cardboard boxes specially designed for postal shipping. Products are packaged and protected in the best possible way, using only recycled or recyclable material. The filling of the box is made from shreds of colored paper, which gives it a cheerful and appealing appearance. We believe, however, that the important thing is the quality of the content and not sophisticated packaging, which is often discarded immediately and ends up being another environmental pollutant. At the end of the year, there is the option of choosing a box with Christmas effects, but it is still made of recyclable cardboard.
