Peppermint is organically grown in the Algarve Inland and certified by Ecocert Portugal. The scientific name of Peppermint is Mentha piperita. The leaves are harvested from the bush and defoliated by hand, and then the natural drying process begins.
The infusion of this aromatic herb provides the palate with a refreshing experience due to its very pleasant minty flavor. In addition to being low in calories, Peppermint is rich in benefits thanks to the essential oils that make it up.

Peppermint has antimicrobial, decongestant, digestive, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, analgesic, tonic, disinfectant, anticonvulsant, bile production stimulating and gas production reducing properties.
Usage suggestions
Put 2 tablespoons in a liter of boiled water and let it rest for 5 to 8 minutes. Strain and serve. If you prefer sweet, you can add honey to taste.
As it is an aromatic herb, it can also be used in cooking or salads.
